Reverse power

Midday sun pushes power INTO the genset — nuisance trips at best, a damaged alternator at worst. The controller caps PV so it never happens.

Minimum loading

A genset idling under 30% load glazes its cylinders. HoneyCore keeps each machine above its floor or shuts it down cleanly.

Wasted panels

The safe-but-dumb fix is curtailing solar hard. Coordinated control curtails only when physics requires it — the fuel saving is the difference.

Logged litres

Fuel consumption and PV contribution are metered and logged — savings are a report, not a brochure claim.

Genset runtime down

Start/stop events, loading profiles and maintenance-relevant hours per machine.

Payback visible

The controller and commissioning are fixed, transparent costs (hardware by proposal + €500 standard) — set them against the logged saving.
